Has it been six years? Maybe it's a symptom of grief --- it seems like last week. However, your kind words and support, the shared resources, help day by day. Please continue to share and thank you.
These pages, and new resources from our readers, are dedicated to all who find themselves on a journey they didn't expect to be taking. It is a journey of hope and love, courage; regardless of outcome.
By profession, I work with hospitals, physicians, education, and health systems developing online solutions. This year, once again, I will be judging the eHealth Leadership Awards. But 2013 was different: my son died. He battled cancer for six and half years; this is the journey.
These pages may help those of you in similar situations, maybe not cancer-related. You may have a life-threatening or chronic disease. As caregivers, friends, neighbors, family, and lastly patients seeking real information and connections, even the online world can seem lonely. We pray this helps.
Thanks to all who have encouraged the development of these pages and provided their assistance. And a special thanks to my son, whose courage inspired so many over the years. Dusty
